Women in Construction

Women-Owned. Built to Last.

SINC Construction is a women-owned and operated business led by Kara Sincavage alongside her daughter, Mackenzie Seitz, the fourth and fifth generation of women building in the Poconos.

Construction has historically been a field where women had to carve out their own place. In the Sincavage-Seitz family, that place was never a question. Generations of women in this family have been involved in building and land development in the Pocono Mountains, long before it was common.

Kara founded SINC Construction in 2007 and has spent more than 19 years building custom homes across Blakeslee, Lake Harmony, and surrounding communities. Mackenzie grew up in the business and now leads it forward with her mother.

For clients, this leadership shows up in the way the company works: listening first, communicating clearly, and treating every home as if the family name is on it, because it is.

Hands-On Leadership

Kara and Mackenzie are directly involved in the homes they build, from first conversation to final walkthrough.

Personal Commitment

As a mother-and-daughter team, the company's reputation and the family name ride on every project.

A Place in the Industry

Women remain underrepresented in construction, and SINC Construction is proud to be part of changing that, one home at a time.
